SITUATION
The brick sewer mortar joints are deteriorating due to age. Water infiltration through joints places unnecessary pressure on the plant. The sewer recently failed in a busy road and owner wants to prevent future collapses.
CHALLENGE
The site is located in both a busy downtown district and a residential neighborhood. The streets are narrow allowing only a lineal setup.
SOLVED
SAK's Geopolymer crew setup the site each day to ensure work could be completed with minimal impact to the public. SAK was able to bypass the flow internally to reduce impact above ground as well. The sewer has been repaired for use for the distant future.
